A colour and bridal hair specialist working from my private studio based just outside of Norwich, Norfolk. 

I started my career working in award winning salons in both Norfolk & Kent, learning the ropes and gaining experience in salon life. I began creating occasion hairstyles and soon gained confidence and built a strong education in this field. I threw myself into colour and started to grow my understanding of technical colour work. It wasn’t long before I realised that colour and technical styling complimented each other; which is when I took my next step.

I decided to start my own business and set up Studio M to allow me further opportunities to build out my portfolio of work and really begin to combine these two technical areas of hairdressing. Over the following 8 years I ombred, bayalaged, curled, waved, bleached, corrected and even styled a few TV commercials.

It was during this time, I honed my expertise in being able to create a tailor made colour for my customers individual skin tone through utilising the newest techniques, products and technology.

In the Spring of 2020, after being forced to temporarily put my scissors down (Lockdown 1.0) I realised that I wanted to build a private space for my guests and so the Studio M salon was built. This not only allowed me to spend longer with each guest but also to be able to spend time with our new baby boy, Huxley, born in 2021.

In 2022, I created a new part of my brand, Studio M Bridal in which I continue to create bespoke romantic bridal hair for weddings & occasions and expand what I can offer new brides. I love working closely with my brides to make sure their day starts in the perfect way, because being asked to be a part of someone’s wedding day is the biggest privilege and I’m so grateful to have been part of so many peoples special day. I’ve even been known to help brides into their wedding dress and shoes by lending an extra pair of hands!

This all brings me up to now. I love getting to know all of my wonderful guests and having very honest and fun appointments with them. I’m so excited for what the future might bring for Studio M. I’ve got lots of new ideas coming too.
